Conair Lithium Ion Cord/Cordless 20pc. Professional Clipper Review
Getting a professional haircut or devoting some time each week to groom your hair and face at home is all well and good if your work doesn’t involve having to travel a lot. Keeping up your appearance during longer business trips is something you’d want to take care of as quickly and as hassle-free as possible, and that’s where the right kind of clippers can make a big difference. What you need is one machine that you can use to keep both your hair and beard immaculate, which won't bog you down with long cords and won't be another weighty addition to your suitcase. Conair has taken all of this into consideration and came up with a professional set of clippers ideal for home use and grooming on the go. Sounds interesting? Check the full review out for more.
Features of the Conair Lithium Ion Cord/Cordless 20pc. Professional Clipper
Once you first take the clippers out of the box, you’ll notice their thin shape which tapers towards the bottom. It is feather light and easily glides across the scalp or chin. Meanwhile you’ll always have a firm hold on it as the sides give your hand a natural-feeling purchase. Even though the clippers are slender and long, they don’t feel unwieldy. The final touch to their appealing shape is a subtle blend of a dark gray base color and silver accents, giving them a contemporary look that’s definitely at home in a guy’s bathroom. A chief concern when getting a pair of clippers with a cordless option is always whether or not they’ll underperform while the cord isn’t being used. You won't have to worry about issues like that with Conair Lithium Ion Cord/Cordless 20pc. Professional Clipper as there’s no noticeable difference between the two modes. You can charge the lithium ion battery in about three hours and have an hour and a half’s worth of cutting and trimming at the ready, or you can enable the speed charging setting which gives you 15 minutes after you’ve spent just as much time charging it. Considering that older models needed up to a full day of charging to fill up, both of these modes are quite an impressive advancement. Another unique thing about these clippers is the combination of their blades’ angle and tapering control. Already set at an angle that helps the blades trim any kind of hair down in a single pass, their operation can further be refined by setting the taper control. To make your fades blend in even more nicely and your beard looking prim and proper, Conair has been very generous by adding 20 different accessories into the package; half of them are guiding combs of varying lengths and textures. Each is well-made, they don’t deform if bent slightly, and putting them on and removing them from the clippers is as easy as squeezing them until they’re securely in place. Other handy additions include two ordinary combs, scissors, a cleaning brush, some lubrication oil and even a barber’s apron to keep yourself or the space around you clean from hair. To top it all off, everything fits inside a portable case. The blades cut very short as is, but there’s an additional “hack” you can use to make their cuts even cleaner – unscrewing the two screws which secure them just a little bit makes the blades drop forward ever so slightly, the result being an almost clean-shaven experience. While being able to touch up your crew cut anywhere and anytime is great, you wouldn’t want to be doing it with someone asleep in an adjacent room. For all of their good sides, Conair’s clippers are very loud, and the problem only gets worse the more you use them as the motor gradually starts to vibrate more. This can negatively impact your cutting experience since you can’t really tell if the hair is the right length by listening in on how the cutting sounds. The battery does indeed hold more than an hour’s worth of charge, but only for so long. It starts out as advertised, and then gradually decreases as time passes. After two years or so of active use, you can expect half the capacity to be gone, if not more.Pros
- Ergonomic, lightweight design makes handling and guiding the clippers straightforward and easy

Cons
